Strategy and Planning
There is a tried and proven process
for developing a multimedia project. We consult
to a number of leading corporations about how best
to apply the technologies so as to achieve the outcomes
already identified in their business and marketing
plans.
We developed and implemented Sydney
Airports initial internet strategy.
Our interactive direct marketing
skills have increased sales for Freedom, ONeill
and Berri.
We advised on and developed BHPs
first ever e-commerce site.
We consult to ad agencies, professional
advisors and their clients.
The successfulness of our approach
is based on the business backgrounds of our consultants,
in particular the experience of our two directors,
Richard
Steyn and Peter
McNamara
Issues arising from having
a web site
Web Sites are not one-off projects. They are often
built in stages; these stages should correspond
to your internal business model. It makes sense
to do so. For example, if, internally, you are not
ready for fulfilment, then don't offer e-commerce
yet. You may realize that's where you want to take
your business, so plan for it, and add it to your
site when it's ready. That way, you don't over spend
on the site or over promise to your customers.
Statistics show that people use
the web for research and gathering information.
A web site is an opportunity to create real one-to-one
relationships with your target. New media strategies
allow you to become more intimate with your market,
than say a TVC (TV ad) or a direct mail piece. However
it may be that the TVC or direct mail piece draws
the user to your site.
There's site maintenance. Why is
the information on your site out of date? It looks
bad, for any future prospect investigating your
services and products. You will need to allow for
funds, resources, and clever on line strategy to
maintain it
- How long are people on the site for?
- Are users coming back to the site?
- Are they going through to product or service information?
If you don't analyse the site post launch then these important
questions will be unknown.
It is rare that the original site architecture will
remain the same, as businesses and, more importantly,
consumers change, so should your site. Liquid Vision
is very experienced at analyzing a new site or an
existing site. And rather than leaving you with a
report of the site or database statistics, we can
help you with ways to improve your site for the future.
